Little Dresses and Shorts for Honduras

Ministry of Compassion provides opportunities for you to be a blessing to others.
The Honduras Sewing project is moving right along. Won't you join us to be a blessing to the children of Honduras? We will meet Saturday May 18th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to begin making shorts and trimming dresses. If you can use scissors, measuring tape, and/or straight [pardon the expression] pins there is a job for you. Come for all or part of the day. We must complete the project before September, so do help out. If you have a portable sewing machine, bring it along. We also need solid color cotton fabric to make pockets, so even a quarter of a yard is useful. Donations of spools of white cotton thread, extra wide double fold bias tape, lace rickrack or other trim, and 1/4 " elastic. Or $$ to buy any of the above. We are making at least 50 dresses and 50 pair of shorts and have no budget for this, so your contributions will be a blessing. |
